Reports from Across the Diaspora
We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for an Oral Presentation at the upcoming Society of Black Pathology, Day of Culture event, which will take place on Monday, November 17th, 2025, during the American Society for Clinical Pathology Annual Scientific Meeting.
We welcome submissions from a wide range of pathology and laboratory disciplines and specialties written on the theme of Pathology Across the Diaspora. Submissions should report on research or projects designed to address disparities and challenges in practice specific to our communities.
- Ongoing and recently completed research related to pathology and laboratory practice.
- Reports from the field. Practitioners are encouraged to share results of projects and initiatives.
Submission Guidelines
- Authors please include your contact information, including preferred Email address.
- Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words.
- The abstract must clearly state the research objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions (if applicable).
- For reports from the field, the abstracts should provide clear explanation of challenges and initiatives designed to improve identified challenges.
- All abstracts must be submitted electronically via the conference portal.
- The deadline for submission is Saturday, June 14.
- Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by June 30th, 2025.
Important Information
- Four abstracts will be selected for 15-minute oral presentations. Two physician and two non-physician entries will be chosen.
- Presenters must respond with the decision to attend the conference and present by July 14, 2025.
- Presenters will receive free registration for the 2025 ASCP conference.
